Bhopal: Under the leadership of Rajgarh District Congress Committee President and former minister Priyavrat Singh, a massive “Vote Chor, Gaddi Chhod” (Vote Thieves, Vacate Power) rally and Kisan Khet Nyay Yatra was organised on Friday. A large number of party workers and citizens joined the rally, raising their voices against the state government.

The event witnessed the presence of key Congress leaders including State Congress President Jeetu Patwari, state in-charge Harish Chaudhary, Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar, and former minister Jayvardhan Singh.

Also present were former minister and district in-charge Hani Baghel, MLAs Haribabu Rai and Bhairon Singh ‘Bapu’, district co-incharge Anand Pratap Singh, former MLA Hemraj Kalponi, Ramchandra Dangi, Bapu Singh Tanwar, and District Panchayat President Chandar Singh Soundhiya, along with several senior leaders and party workers.

Addressing the gathering, Congress leaders asserted that the people of Madhya Pradesh were no longer willing to tolerate what they described as a “vote-stealing government.” They highlighted farmers’ distress, rising unemployment among youth, and growing hardships faced by ordinary citizens as evidence of the urgent need for change. The Nyay Yatra, they stressed, symbolised the people’s struggle for justice and their call for political transformation.
