Shah extends birthday wishes to RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat

New Delhi, Sept 11 (UNI) union Home Minister Amit Shah today extended birthday wishes to Sarsanghchalak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Mohan Bhagwat, praising his dedication to social service and development of India’s youth through RSS.

In a post on X, Shah while acknowledging Bhagwat’s remarkable journey from a dedicated pracharak to the Sarsanghchalak of the Sangh, said, “Heartfelt birthday wishes to the respected Sarsanghchalak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Shri Mohan Bhagwat ji”.

“From being a pracharak of the Sangh to becoming the esteemed Sarsanghchalak, Bhagwat ji has done unforgettable work in social service and character building of the youth through @RSSorg,” the home Minster said.

Highlighting Bhagwat’s role during the Emergency, Shah said, “He played a crucial role in making the Sangh a symbol of protecting democracy during the challenging days of the Emergency and inspired the youth to organize themselves and make ‘nation first’ a life-long resolve.”

He added, “I pray to God for his good health and long life”.

Born on 11 September, 1950, Mohan Bhagwat turned 75.
