BHEL Bhopal praised for exemplary implementation of Hindi

Bhopal: The Regional Implementation Office (Central), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has been entrusted with ensuring the effective use of Hindi in various offices and public sector undertakings. As part of this responsibility, officials periodically inspect institutions to assess progress in the promotion and implementation of Hindi.

In this sequence, Narendra Singh Mehra, Deputy Director (Implementation) and Head of Office, conducted an inspection of four departments of BHEL’s Bhopal unit today. He began with a visit to the Hindi Gyan Mandir, where he expressed great satisfaction with the present arrangements and the newly added collection of books, describing the library as a treasure house of knowledge across diverse subjects.

During his inspection of the FBM department, Mehra lauded the extensive use of Hindi in technical areas, particularly appreciating wfgthe bilingual approach in technical documentation. He remarked that the officers and employees of the department demonstrated a commendable inclination towards Hindi.

At the HTE department, he praised the use of Hindi in engineering drawings, calling it exemplary and inspirational for others. He also commended the ongoing work in the HSE department. Impressed by the performance of the FCX department, Mehra said that BHEL Bhopal’s practices were so noteworthy that he would encourage other offices under the Town Official Language Implementation Committee to draw inspiration from them.

He concluded by describing BHEL Bhopal as a model for Hindi implementation, extending his best wishes to the top management and employees for their outstanding efforts. Senior officials including Alok Sengar, A. Aurangabadkar, J. Chatterjee, T.U. Singh, and Poonam Sahu were present during the inspection.
