New Delhi, Aug 27 (UNI) Home Minister Amit Shah today met and felicitated the valiant personnel of the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) who played a pivotal role in the successful culmination of ‘Operation Mahadev’ by neutralizing the terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack.
The Home Minister also extended congratulations on behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the entire nation lauding the security forces for instilling a renewed sense of safety and confidence among citizens, particularly in Jammu and Kashmir.
After felicitating the personnel, Shah said, “Operation Sindoor had brought a sense of satisfaction among the people, but Operation Mahadev transformed that satisfaction into confidence. These operations have sent a strong message to the masterminds of terror that there will be severe consequences for playing with the lives of innocent Indians.”
He said, “At a time when tourism in Kashmir was at its peak, the Pahalgam attack was a failed attempt to derail the Kashmir Mission”.
He said, “Technically, our NIA’s Forensic Science Lab (FSL) has proven that the terrorists killed in Operation Mahadev were the same who committed the atrocities in Pahalgam. Our soldiers have shown the world that no matter how many tactics and strategies terrorists use, they can no longer harm India and escape,” Shah asserted.
He also praised the synergized efforts of the Indian Army, paramilitary units, and Jammu and Kashmir Police, stating that the state police has now emerged as a frontline force in the anti-terror campaign.
The Home Minister said that whether it is the ruling party or the Opposition, Operations Sindoor and Operation Mahadev have evoked joy and enthusiasm in everyone’s hearts, along with a deep sense of appreciation for the security forces.
