Skill development requires focus on process: Prof Tripathi

  • MoU signed between NITTTR and Jabalpur Engineering College

Bhopal: An MoU was signed between NITTTR Bhopal and Jabalpur Engineering College, Madhya Pradesh. The objective of this agreement is to promote joint research, training, academic collaboration, innovation, and various technical aspects in the field of technical education, which will provide new opportunities to the employees, teachers and students of both the institutions.

On this occasion, NITTTR Director Prof. C. C Tripathi said that for skill development, focus has to be on the process. It is the responsibility of technical institutions to live up to the trust of the students. In line with NEP-2020, this cooperation will provide institutions an opportunity to work in areas like digitalization, Industry 4.0, Green Transition and Skill Development.

Jabalpur Engineering College also conducting courses in emerging areas

The Principal of Jabalpur Engineering College Prof. Rajiv Chandak said that Jabalpur Engineering College, which is the oldest and most prestigious government engineering institute in MP, was established in 1947; currently the institute is also conducting courses in emerging areas, in which NITTTR Bhopal can play an important role. He said with the cooperation of NITTTR Bhopal, we will also update the curriculum of our college.

Dean Corporate and International Relations of NITTTR, Prof. P.K Purohit said that activities like faculty exchange, internships, and industry integrated projects will be organized between the two institutions.

A delegation of senior members including Principal of Jabalpur Engineering College, Prof. Rajiv Chandak, Prof. P.K Jhinge, Prof. Kamal Kumar Kushwaha visited the Center of Excellence and Semiconductor Laboratories of NITTTR. Prof. R.K Dixit, Prof. Sanjay Agarwal, Prof. Manish Bhargava, Prof. Hussain Jeevakhan were present from NITTTR on this occasion.
