Bhopal: In a vibrant celebration of Baba Ramdev’s birth anniversary, Jinagar Samaj MP Alok Sharma led the Aarti Puja at Shri Baba Ramdev Ji Maharaj, extending heartfelt congratulations to the committee members on Ramdev Jayanti. The event, marked as Dharma Diwas, commenced with a flag-off from the Baba Ramdev Temple in Gautam Nagar, adjacent to PGBT College, accompanied by prayers for the nation’s and state’s prosperity.
The unique procession, organized by the Jinagar Samaj, journeyed through key locations including Bhopal Talkies, Bus Stand, and Bhavani Chowk, culminating at the Lakhera Pura Ramdev Temple. Highlighting the festivities were a palanquin representing Baba Ramdev’s child form, a Damru team, Samudhar Band, and an array of buggies, camels, and horses. Enthusiastic participants, including little girls in Rajasthani attire performing Dandiya, contributed to the lively atmosphere, while devotees sang praises in front of Baba’s grand chariot.
The procession received warm welcomes from various social organizations, showering flowers along the route. A significant turnout of community members and dignitaries, including society president Ajay Pawar and program president Mukesh Pawar, marked the event. The evening concluded with Bhajans and a Bhandara at the Ramdev temples, further enriching the spirit of the celebration.
