Bhopal: A young woman from Shahpura village, identified as Tanya Suryavanshi, tragically committed suicide by hanging herself in her rented room on Saturday night. The 22-year-old worked at a private hospital in the Shahpura area and was reportedly in a romantic relationship with a young man, with discussions about their marriage taking place between their families.
According to Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Munshiram Dhakad, Tanya was found by her landlord around 2 a.m. on Saturday-Sunday. Upon receiving the landlord’s report, police arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation, registering a case. No suicide note was discovered in her room, leaving the exact circumstances surrounding her death unclear.
Tanya’s father, Laalsahab Suryavanshi, expressed his devastation, stating that the family was supportive of the relationship and had been preparing for the marriage. He said that a recent dispute between his daughter and her partner over a phone call may have contributed to her decision to end her life.
