Moscow, Aug 25 (UNI) The United States will continue to seek a diplomatic solution to the Ukrainian crisis, US Vice President JD Vance said.
“This war is not in anyone’s interest. It is not in Europe or the United States’ interests. We do not think it is in Russia or Ukraine’s interest to keep going, so we are going to keep pushing for a diplomatic solution’s,” Vance said in an interview with NBC News published on Sunday.
The US vice president also expressed his confidence that Russia was not misleading US President Donald Trump about its desire to resolve the conflict, adding that it has made “significant concessions” to Washington for the first time since the start of its military operation in Ukraine.
