- Scindia’s heartfelt gesture
Shivpuri: In a powerful and emotional display of gratitude, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has gifted a new tractor to a young man from Shivpuri who risked his own life to save villagers during a severe flood. This act of generosity has been widely praised and has put a spotlight on the selfless bravery of the young hero.
A heroic rescue in the face of disaster
On July 29, the Sindh River overflowed its banks, and the village of Lilwara was completely submerged. A promise fulfilled
At a recent compensation event, Girraj’s mother tearfully appealed to Minister Scindia for help. Her plea, along with testimonials from villagers and local leaders, moved Scindia deeply. He immediately called Girraj to the stage, praised his courage, and made a public promise: “Girraj is no longer just your son; he is my son too.” Scindia pledged to provide him with a new tractor within 12 hours. The very next morning, Scindia returned to the village, personally drove the new tractor to the gathering, and handed over the keys. The crowd erupted in applause, celebrating both Girraj’s bravery and the minister’s swift and compassionate action. Scindia later shared the moment on social media,
