Bhopal: The second day of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) workshop at the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) headquarters in Bhopal witnessed the active participation of senior leaders, including AICC in-charge for Madhya Pradesh Harish Chaudhary and PCC president Jitu Patwari. Organised under the leadership of state media department head Dr Mukesh Nayak, the sessions aimed to sharpen the communication abilities of party spokespersons.
Chaudhary, addressing the gathering, said that modern political communication extended far beyond public speeches. He underlined the necessity of using digital platforms, social media, and online channels to deliver swift, accurate, and fact-based messages. He urged Congress spokespersons to focus on constructive, people-centric engagement to strengthen public trust.
Echoing similar sentiments, Patwari emphasised the crucial role of digital media in contemporary politics. He encouraged spokespersons to harness technological tools effectively to communicate the party’s ideology and policies with clarity and precision to the public.
The workshop’s second day included a range of practical activities. Spokespersons engaged in simulated press conferences, digital content creation, social media post drafting, and fact-checking drills. These exercises were designed to enhance real-time responsiveness and improve practical communication skills.
Speaking to this correspondent, Dr Nayak described the two-day programme as a significant initiative to bolster spokespersons’ communication strategies, factual readiness, and digital literacy. He expressed confidence that such training would help Congress leaders keep pace with the evolving demands of political communication and forge stronger connections with the public in the digital age.
