Delhi Congress alleges BJP, Election Commission involved in voter fraud

New Delhi, Aug 11 (UNI) Delhi Congress leaders today screened a video released by Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, alleging a conspiracy involving the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Election Commission to manipulate voter rolls.

The screening took place at the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee office, where party leaders and workers were present.

Before the screening, Delhi Congress Communication Department chairperson Anil Bhardwaj discussed the contents of the video with attendees, calling it an attempt to expose alleged voter fraud. Several senior Congress leaders, including former MP Krishna Tirath, former Delhi ministers Narendra Nath, Mangat Ram Singhal, and Kiran Walia, as well as district presidents and other office bearers, attended the event.

Delhi Congress president Devender Yadav alleged that the BJP, with the help of the Election Commission, had won elections through unlawful means, amounting to an attack on democracy and the Constitution. He urged party workers to join the campaign “I support Rahul Gandhi’s demand of Digital Voter Rolls from EC” and register through the link provided by the All India Congress Committee to demand digital voter lists.

Yadav said voter fraud was not just a Congress issue but one that concerned every citizen, and called for collective action to expose it, both at the grassroots level and on social media.

Bhardwaj said the alleged voter fraud undermined democratic values and that while Gandhi had revealed details of one constituency’s voter list, the problem affected the entire country. He accused the BJP of misusing democratic processes for political gain.
