Bhopal: An eight-year-old child died after drowning in a water pit on Bhopal’s Parvaliya Sadak. The child was mentally challenged. He had left home to play. After searching for four hours, the family reached the police station. When the police started searching, the villagers told that the child was seen near a pit.
The police somehow emptied the water pit. Then the child’s body could be recovered. The police have started investigation by registering a case in the matter. According to the police, Devansh Pal (8) lived in Mubarakpur Parvaliya Sadak police station area. He was mentally challenged.
Left home without informing anyone
He had left home without informing anyone on Saturday afternoon. When he did not return for a long time, the family started looking for him. After searching for four hours, the police was informed at 7:30 pm.
When the police started searching, the villagers told that the child was seen near a water pit in Mubarakpur itself. Then with the help of the villagers, the police drained the water and recovered the body. Police say that all aspects of the accident are being investigated.
