New Delhi, July 31 (UNI) President of the Republic of the Philippines, Ferdinand R Marcos Jr., will pay a state visit to India from August 4 to 8, 2025, at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

This will be President Marcos’s first official visit to India since assuming office.

The visit coincides with the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between India and the Philippines, an important milestone that reflects the growing strategic and people-centric ties between the two nations.

According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the President will be accompanied by First Lady Madame Louise Araneta Marcos, along with a high-level delegation that includes Cabinet Ministers, senior government officials, and leading representatives from the Philippine business sector.
