Bhopal: A 40-year-old man died during treatment nine days after his bike collided with a cattle sitting in the middle of the road. The incident occurred on the night of July 16 near Nipaniya Jat on the main road, under the jurisdiction of Eintkhedi police station.
According to police, the deceased, Narmada Prasad, son of Gopilal and a resident of Rodiya Gunga village, worked as a labourer. He was riding his motorcycle when he failed to spot the cattle sitting on the road and rammed into it. The impact caused him to fall and sustain serious injuries.
Following the accident, his family rushed him to a private hospital. However, as his condition deteriorated, he was referred to AIIMS Bhopal the same night. Despite continued treatment, he succumbed to his injuries on Friday morning, July 25.
Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the matter. After a post-mortem examination, the body was handed over to the family for final rites.
