Speeding car hits bike in Bagroda Industrial Area

Bhopal: In a tragic road accident late Tuesday night, a speeding unidentified car hit three bike riders in the Bagroda Industrial Area. One person died, while two others remain in critical condition.

The incident occurred around 8 PM when Kalyan Singh (55), a resident of Salamatpur in Raisen district, was returning from work. Singh, who worked as a watchman at an under-construction factory in the area, had taken a lift on a motorcycle driven by Neetu Singh, a resident of Tarawali Gunga. Kalyan’s friend, Tularam, was also riding along with them.

As the trio travelled through the industrial area, a speeding car rammed their motorcycle from behind and fled the scene. Upon receiving the alert, an ambulance rushed all three injured individuals to AIIMS Hospital, Bhopal.

Sadly, Kalyan Singh succumbed to his injuries during treatment in the early hours of Wednesday. He was reportedly accompanied at the hospital by SI Dhanraj Dhurve. The other two victims, Tularam and Neetu Singh, are in critical condition and continue to receive medical care.

Police are investigating the matter and efforts are on to trace the unidentified vehicle responsible for the hit-and-run.
