- Krishna Gaur hails participation of women farmers in Parivartan Yatra
Bhopal: New technologies not only save time, but also make life simple and prosperous. On Tuesday, Minister of State (Independent Charge) Krishna Gaur was addressing the program organized at Niwas Karyalaya, Bhopal on the occasion of the conclusion of ‘Parivartan Yatra’ run by a private equipment company.
Gaur said that mechanization has now become an integral part of agriculture, which is helpful in increasing the productivity of farmers and improving their lifestyle. She especially praised the women farmers and said that today they are also making farming easier and empowering by adopting modern machines. The manufacturer of power tools and agricultural equipment has made an important contribution in spreading technical awareness in rural areas and modernizing agriculture through Parivartan Yatra.
Under the Parivartan Yatra, a distance of more than 5100 km was covered and direct communication was done with more than 1500 farmers in 35 districts. This initiative has generated confidence and enthusiasm among farmers about new technologies. The Minister of State congratulated the company and expressed hope that such efforts will bring positive changes in the lives of farmers and make the state technically self-reliant.
