BHEL ICT Dept hands over Advanced Communication System to CISF

Bhopal: In a move to enhance internal security and communication, the ICT Department of BHEL Bhopal recently handed over a state-of-the-art wireless communication system to the CISF unit at BHEL, Bhopal. This new facility is designed to significantly improve real-time communication across the plant premises.

The upgraded system includes walkie-talkie sensors, mobile stations, bus stations, and repeaters, ensuring seamless and uninterrupted connectivity. The goal is to create a more robust and efficient internal communication network, thereby strengthening the overall security infrastructure of the BHEL Bhopal unit.

The handover ceremony was attended by key dignitaries, including PK Upadhyay, General Manager & Head, BHEL Bhopal; Shivratan Singh Meena, Senior Commandant, CISF; Rajesh Kumar Agarwal, General Manager (SOM); TU Singh, General Manager (HR); Arif Ahmed Siddiqui, Additional GM (HR); HK Patil, Additional GM (ICT); Company Commander Sandeep Tiwari (CISF) and Abhimanyu Kumar Pandey, Engineer (ICT).

Speaking on the occasion, PK Upadhyay remarked, “This advanced communication system will play a vital role in enhancing the security operations at the Bhopal unit. It reflects our ongoing commitment to adopting smart technologies for the safety and efficiency of our plant.”
