Bhopal: AIIMS Bhopal has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing the 1st rank among all newly established AIIMS and the 2nd position in Madhya Pradesh, following IISER Bhopal, in the IIRF University Rankings 2025. Nationally, the institute stands at 31st in the “Research Excellence (Non-Technical, Non-IT)” category, a significant recognition of its contributions to medical research and education.
This accomplishment reflects the visionary leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Ajai Singh, Executive Director, whose focus on academic excellence, innovation, and translational research has elevated the institute’s standing. The Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF) is a respected evaluation platform that assesses central, deemed, and private institutions across 17 sub-categories, emphasizing research output, societal impact, and academic quality.
Prof. (Dr.) Singh lauded the efforts of the faculty, staff, and students, calling the recognition “a testament to our commitment to quality education, cutting-edge research, and compassionate care.”
