Maharashtra, June 8 (UNI) Fuel prices continue to be a pressing concern for Maharashtra’s residents, as fluctuations in petrol and diesel rates directly impact daily expenses and inflation.
The latest fuel prices were updated at 6 AM on June 8, 2025, and have been communicated across the state. Commuters are advised to verify current rates in their respective cities before refuelling.
Today, petrol prices in most Maharashtra cities exceed 104 per litre, while diesel prices generally remain above 91 per litre. For instance, petrol in Ahmednagar is priced at 104.59 per litre, with diesel at 91.12. Akola records petrol at 104.64 and diesel at 91.18 per litre. Amravati’s rates stand at 104.88 for petrol and 91.41 for diesel, while Aurangabad reports 104.53 and 91.05, respectively.
Other cities such as Bhandara and Beed show petrol prices of 104.67 and 105.50, with diesel at 91.21 and 92.03 per litre. Across Maharashtra, petrol prices range from 103.50 in Mumbai to 105.97 in Nandurbar, while diesel prices vary from 90.03 in Mumbai to 99.43 in Palghar.
