Minister Krishna Gaur listens to Govindpura residents

  • Orders swift action on civic issues

Bhopal: Minister of State for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare (Independent Charge), Krishna Gaur, conducted a surprise inspection of Ward-61 in Govindpura, where she interacted with local residents and addressed their civic grievances on the spot. Emphasizing accountability, she warned that “negligence in development works will not be tolerated” and pulled up officials for unnecessarily delaying files.

During the inspection, residents raised concerns over irregular water supply, citing low pressure and reduced duration. Responding swiftly, Minister Gaur instructed officials to restore proper pipeline pressure, repair damaged networks, and ensure a longer and more consistent water supply.

In Lavkush Nagar and Samridhi Parisar, Khajuri Kalan, residents complained about waterlogging during monsoon due to clogged drains and encroachments. Minister Gaur directed immediate removal of encroachments, drain cleaning, and installation of paver blocks around the local temple. She also announced Rs 5 lakh from her MLA fund for beautifying the temple, aiming to enhance the area’s religious and cultural appeal.

Additionally, she ordered expedited completion of road and park development works in Rachna Vihar and Avantika Vihar, stressing that all civic improvements must meet high-quality standards. Minister Gaur reaffirmed her commitment to resolving public issues with a focus on long-term, effective solutions.
