Shri Modi emphasized that the spirit of service refines one’s personality and connects an individual with greater purposes.

On the Land of Anandpur, Even Sorrow Hesitates to Enter

From Adi Shankaracharya to Paramhans Advait Ji Maharaj: The Significance of Advaita Philosophy

Prime Minister Shri Modi stated that India has always been the land of sages. Whenever society passes through difficult phases, a sage is born to guide it. Adi Shankaracharya introduced the world to the philosophy of Advaita—the oneness of all beings. Over time, other sages elaborated on this philosophy and brought spiritual awakening. In this tradition, Paramhans Advait Ji Maharaj simplified this profound knowledge and brought it to the common people.

In today’s age of material advancement, the world faces wars and divisions that distance humans from one another. The solution lies in the philosophy of Advaita, which teaches us to see the same divine presence in all beings, abandoning the mindset of ‘self’ and ‘other.’ Seeing the entire universe as a form of the Divine is true Advaita. As Paramhans Dayal Ji Maharaj said, *“What you are, I am”—*a thought that dissolves all divisions. If one embraces this idea, all conflicts will end.

Commendable Service Initiatives of Shri Anandpur Trust

The Prime Minister praised Guru Maharaj for explaining the rules and duties of Anand Dham. He noted that selfless service is the cornerstone of the Trust’s work, which includes hospitals, a cow shelter, quality education for the younger generation, and environmental initiatives. He commended the followers of the Ashram for turning thousands of acres of barren land into fertile greenery. This spirit of service, he said, is central to his government as well, as it lifts individuals from self-concern and connects them with society and the nation.

Ram Van Gaman Path Will Be Developed – A Major Portion Lies in Madhya Pradesh

Shri Modi added that service teaches us to face and overcome difficulties—it is a form of spiritual practice. The Ram Van Gaman Path, the legendary route taken by Lord Rama during his exile, is being developed across the country. A significant part of this path runs through Madhya Pradesh. He emphasized that Madhya Pradesh has always been unique and remarkable.

He reiterated the national vision of a developed India by 2047 and highlighted the need to move forward while preserving our cultural heritage, which is the source of our strength. He expressed confidence that Anandpur Dham would continue to energize and support these efforts.

Addressing the gathering, the current Peethadheeshwar of the institution, Shri Shri 108 Huzur Satguru Maharaj, said that Kabir Sahib believed the name of God is the ultimate truth, while all worldly things are fleeting. Similarly, the names of great souls are also true. Everyone who is born must eventually leave the world, but one must not forget to remember the Divine while fulfilling worldly duties.
