Bhopal: Many events were organized on the third day of Foundation Day at Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, Bhopal, in which prominently a seminar was organized on the topic “Linguistics and Cultural Diversity among Communities in India: Special Reference South India”.
In this seminar, the unique cultural unity of India was highlighted prominently. Museum Director Prof. Amitabh Pandey , Dr. Vijay Sahay , Prof. Vaikat Rao , Dr. Anand Mishra , Dr. Ashok Vardhan , Dr. P. Shankar Rao , Dr. Surya Kumar Pandey , Public Relations Officer Shri Hemant Bahadur Singh Parihar and Shri Krishna Reddy along with many scholars , researchers and museum officials were present.
In this seminar, India’s glorious history of 4th century BC and cultural exchange with China were discussed. India’s cultural policy and its role in the direction of natural development were highlighted. In the seminar, scholar Dr. Vijay Sahay said that India and China have historically glorious traditions.
Ayyanar temple consecrated in Anthropological Museum
The consecration of the temple of the nature deity (Solei Andabar Aalayam) found in the Pudukkottai region of Tamil Nadu was completed with full ritualistic rites in the Myth Gallery complex of the Anthropological Museum. 10 artists This ritual has given special recognition to the traditional sculpture and temple architecture of South India. This event is an important step towards the preservation of cultural heritage and promotion of folk traditions.
At the end of this three-day Foundation Day program, the Director of the Museum, Prof. Amitabh Pandey, thanked the participants from Tamil Nadu, Kerala and other southern states including Andhra and Telangana for organizing the program successfully.
