Mauganj, Dec 3 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Assembly Speaker Girish Gautam (BJP) was declared elected on Sunday from this district’s Deotalab Assembly constituency defeating his nearest rival Padmesh Gautam (Congress) by a margin of 24,386 votes.
Mr Gautam secured 63,722 votes.
The BJP retained the seat.
