New Delhi, Aug 21 (UNI) Rajeshbhai Khimjibhai, who attacked Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is an Animal Lover. He told Delhi Police that he wouldn’t sleep he sees an animal in pain be it dogs, money or any animal.
In May he sat on a Hunger strike in Ayodhya for monkeys. He said that the UP government was not taking care of monkeys. He demanded that monkeys should be fed thrice in the day , and the government should pay for it.
Later he was detained by UP Police. He was later freed after he gave assurance that he will go back to Rajkot.
In his Rajkot house he has 20 stray dogs. Rajeshbhai calls himself gurdian of the dogs.
He runs a Facebook page on which he posts only about dogs and God Shiva.
The Delhi Police had sought five days custodial remand of the police. Police said that they wanted to unearth the entire conspiracy. They wanted to verify all his claims and versions.
The Delhi Police has so far seized his cell phone which will be sent to CFSL for the forensic examination in coming days.
“Rajeshbhai Khimjibhai is 8th fail. We have spoken to his wife and mother, they told us that he was upset on Dog issue and wanted to take revenge from the government,” said a police source.
The FIR against Rajeshbhai has been lodged under sections 132, 221 and 109 of the BNS.
