6 accused who tried to break ATM arrested

Bhopal: Police has arrested 6 accused including a minor who tried to break ATM of Canara Bank located in Ayodhya Nagar. Goods worth about Rs. 3 lakhs including auto and tools used in crime have been seized from the accused. The accused had planned to break ATM but ran away after hearing the siren of Dial 100 patrolling in the area. The report of this case was lodged by Canara Bank manager Ritika Kumari. She told the police that on 20 September at around 7 pm, the entire staff had locked the bank after finishing work and went home. There is an ATM booth outside the bank branch, where there is no security guard at night.

Between 12 and 2 in the night, unknown miscreants entered the booth and after breaking the siren and camera, tried to break the machine. The miscreants had almost broken the front part of the ATM with the help of a pickaxe, but at that time they heard the siren of Dial 100 patrolling in the area, so the miscreants fled from there. T

his act of the miscreants was captured in the camera installed in the booth, in which three miscreants were seen committing the crime inside.

Police has arrested Nandlal Singh alias Golu alias Ajju alias Bade (22) Ankit Arya alias Gappe (18) Ravi Ahirwar (21), Rohit Panthee (25), Aman Panthee (22) and a minor in this case. All these accused are residents of Jhansi, Banda, Raisen, Gwalior and Vidisha. Currently all the accused live in Vijay Nagar Chandbad Police Station Bajaria area. The auto, crowbar, pickaxe, cutter, Tommy and rod used in the crime, along with the siren broken from the booth and other items have been seized from their possession.

Driver who disappeared with mini truck arrested

Ashoka Garden police has arrested the driver who disappeared with a mini truck loaded with copper wire. Goods worth Rs. 8 lakh including the stolen mini truck and goods have been recovered from the possession of the accused. According to the information, Jitendra Chaturvedi (54), resident of Fortune Complex Hoshangabad Road, is a businessman. He runs a company by the name of Health Air Cooling System Private Limited. His company’s office is in Narayan Nagar on Hoshangabad Road. Last month on 22 August, he hired Ravi Ahirwar son of Karan Singh Ahirwar (29), resident of Jaisi Nagar District Sagar, as his driver. He gave him his loading vehicle Mahindra Maxitruck to drive. On 5 September, Jitendra sent him with the loading vehicle to Cool Refrigerator Shop in Ashoka Garden in front of ABC Coaching. Jitendra had bought 250 kg of copper wire from this shop, which the driver was to load in a loading vehicle and bring to the office. Ravi reached the said shop and loaded the goods, but instead of reaching the office, he disappeared with the goods and the loading vehicle.
