58 trains passing through Bhopal cancelled and 18 routes changed

  • Changes– Diverted due to technical work from 21 September to 30 October

Due to technical work at various stations of North-South Railway Division, 58 trains passing through many stations of Bhopal Railway Division have been cancelled in September and October. Routes of about 18 trains have been diverted. Out of these, 2 trains have been partially cancelled. It is worth mentioning that 230 trains pass through Bhopal Railway Division daily.

According to the officials of Bhopal Railway Division, these trains will remain cancelled from 21 September to 30 October. All the passengers whose trains have been cancelled will be given a refund as per rules. It is worth mentioning that railway maintenance work is going on in Northern Railway, South Central Railway and Jhansi Division. Due to this, lakhs of people travelling from the main stations of Bhopal Railway Division will have to face problems. While on one hand passengers are cancelling their journey due to cancelled trains, on the other hand many passengers are also cancelling their journeys due to short termination and route change.

12 trains cancelled due to maintenance work in Palwal

If the officials of Bhopal Railway Division are to be believed, these days maintenance is to be done at Palwal Railway Station of Northern Railway. This work is being done for rail connectivity between Palwal and New Prithla (Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited) yard. Due to this 12 trains have been cancelled and the routes of 18 trains have also been changed. Apart from this, 2 trains have also been partially cancelled.

41 trains of South India cancelled

Apart from this, 41 trains passing through Bhopal Division have been cancelled due to non-interlocking work of four railway lines between Warangal, Kazipet and Hasanparthi Road stations in Vijayawada-Kazipet-Balharshah section of South Central Railway.
