Bhopal: A tragic incident occurred in Bhopal’s Bajaria area on Monday morning, where a 4-year-old boy was electrocuted after coming into contact with a running cooler while playing at home. The child, identified as Mohammad Sahil, was rushed to Hamidia Hospital by his family after he fell unconscious. Despite efforts, doctors declared him dead upon arrival.
According to police reports, Sahil was the son of Mohammad Shahzad, a fruit vendor, and lived with his family in the Kapda Mill area near Chandbad Station, Bajaria. His mother is a homemaker, and he had a younger brother, Sohail, aged two.
The incident took place when Sahil and his brother were playing hide and seek at home. While trying to hide behind a running cooler, Sahil accidentally touched it and received a severe electric shock. He immediately collapsed, prompting his family to rush him to the hospital.
Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of the electrocution and whether any negligence was involved.
