Kolhapur, March 16 (UNI) About 35 devotees fell ill after allegedly consuming a cold drink at Aadmapur pilgrimage site in Bhudargad tehsil of Maharashtra’s Kolhapur district during the Sri Sant Balu Mama Bhandara Utsav late Sunday night.
According to police, some people were distributing cold drinks to devotees on the occasion of the utsav. Soon after consuming the drink, several devotees started vomiting and complained of stomach problems.
They were admitted to the sub-district hospital at Gargoti for treatment.
The condition of all the devotees is reported to be stable. Police are further investigating the incident.
