- Rs 1.21 lakh fine recovered
Bhopal: 20 ticket checking staff including two supervisors conducted ticket checking campaign at the Bhopal station from 6 am to 2 pm on Thursday. During this, the exit routes of the station were cordoned off so that no passenger could go out of the station without checking.
During the action, tickets of passengers of a total of 28 trains coming and going to the station were checked. During the investigation, a total of 110 passengers were caught traveling without ticket. A fine of Rs 68,605 was collected from them.
A total of 105 passengers were found traveling with improper tickets. A fine of Rs 52,300 was collected from them.
3 passengers were found traveling with luggage without booking and spreading dirt at the station. A fine of Rs 450 was imposed on them.
Checking was also done inside the trains
During the action, checking was also done inside the trains. During this, tickets were demanded from the passengers. Those passengers who were travelling without tickets were fined.
