Around 110 private colleges related to Barkatullah University (BU) located in the capital Bhopal are under investigation.
It has to be ascertained whether the faculty has been appointed in these colleges or not and if so, whether the faculty is eligible under the New Education Policy or not. BU Vice Chancellor Prof. SK Jain said that notices were issued to the operators of all 110 colleges. Of these, 65 college operators have submitted the requested information. This is yet to be tested. The remaining 45 colleges have not given information. As per the rules, a final warning has been issued to those college operators. If they do not submit the requested information by December 14, 2023, their recognition will be cancelled.

The Vice Chancellor says that even after repeatedly informing the college administrators, they have not sent the information about the faculty appointed in the college. Under the New Education Policy of India, the recognition of all such colleges will be terminated. For this he has been issued a final warning.
Students upset due to college operators
Conducting examinations has become a challenge for BU. Due to assembly elections and other reasons, the teaching session of BU is lagging behind the academic calendar. Now these examinations will be conducted from December 18. But conducting the examinations remains a challenge for him. One reason for this is the lax attitude of the affiliated colleges and the university does not have information about the faculty in the colleges. For the last two months, the affiliated colleges are not giving information about the faculty posted there to the university administration. On not receiving any reply, the officials believe that there are no regular faculty in the concerned colleges, hence they are giving this information. According to the information, till the issue of notice, only 300 colleges had given information about the faculty. Other colleges are avoiding giving information.
