10th exam start, 9.53 lakh students appeared

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE)’s 10th board examination has started from Thursday. The first paper was of Hindi. More than 9.53 lakh students have appeared in the exam across the state. 3887 exam centers have been set up in the state and 103 in Bhopal.

Earlier, the class 12th examination has started from 24 February. Its first paper was also of Hindi, while the second paper on Friday will be of English. This time the board has implemented many important changes and strict rules in the examination. Which are being followed by all the students and examination centers.

The students who returned after giving the exam said that the paper went well. The paper was given inside the examination center on time and we were also helped in filling the answer sheet. We have done the paper well. Some students also told that they answerewd all the questions but there were some questions which they could not do.

Exam started at 9 am

The exam started at 9 am, which lasted till 12 noon. This time, the students have been provided with only 32 pages of main answer sheet. Additional supplementary copy will not be given. Therefore, students were advised to write their answers briefly and precisely.

This year 9 lakh 53 thousand 777 students are appearing in the high school (class 10th) examination and 7 lakh 6 thousand 475 students are appearing in the higher secondary (class 12th) examination. The total number of examinees is 16 lakh 60 thousand 252. 3,887 examination centers have been set up across the state for the board examination.

As per the instructions of the Board, special arrangements have been made to prevent cheating in the examination. If the stitching of the answer sheet of any candidate is found to be torn, it will be considered as cheating and action will be taken against him. Every possible effort is being made by the Education Department to conduct the board examination in a fair and transparent manner. Candidates have been appealed to maintain discipline and appear honestly in the examination.
