Higher Education Minister takes stocks of preparations at Jamboree Maidan

Yuva Panchayat for exhorting youths to rebuild the state will be held at Jamboree Maidan tomorrow. Higher Education Minister Shri Laxmikant Sharma took stock of preparations for the mega event at Jamboree Maidan here today. He directed to complete all preparations by tonight. About one lakh youths are expected to participate in Yuva Panchayat.
Shri Sharma inspected the exhibition being put up by the Sports & Youth Welfare Department. He gave necessary suggestions. The Public Relations Department has also put up an exhibition focusing on ideals of Swami Vivekananda and development in the state.
16 sectors at Jamboree Maidan
In all, 16 sectors have been made for sitting arrangements of youths at Jamboree Maidan. Sectors for journalists and public representatives have also been set up.
Entry arrangements
The Chief Minister and ministers will enter Jamboree Maidan from gate no. 1, VVIPs, journalists, artistes, officers and public representatives from gate no. 2 and invitees and youths will enter the ground from gate nos. 3, 4, 5 and 6.
Control room set up at Bhopal
A control room has been set up at the office of the Regional Additional Director Higher Education on the premises of Government MLB College to solve problems and difficulties as well as dialogue between regional officers, participants and government. The control room will remain functional upto January 16. Its telephone number will be 0755-2660289. Additional Regional Director Shri U.C. Jain will be in-charge of control room. 9 facilitation centres for youths
As many as nine facilitation centres have been set up on various routes to arrange food etc for youths coming from various districts of the state. The Higher Education Minister also took stock of arrangements at these centres. Two facilitation Centres have been set up at Bhauri. Centre no. 1 is meant for youths from Ujjain, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Dewas and Shajapur and centre no. 2 for Sehore, Indore, Khargone, Barwani, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Burhanpur and Khandwa districts.
Similarly, facilitation centre at Jhirniya will be meant for youths from Sheopur, Morena, Bhind, Gwalior, Datia, Rajgarh, Shivpuri and Guna district, LNCT College centre no. 1 for Raisen, Sagar, Damoh, Panna, Tikamgarh and Anuppur district, LNCT College centre no. 2 for Chhatarpur, Shahdol, Umaria, Mandideep, Bansal College Mandideep Hoshangababad Road for Sehore, Chhindwara, Betul, Hoshangabad, Harda, Seoni, Balaghat and Khandwa districts, Gauharganj for Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Mandla and Dindori districts and the facilitation centre set up at Government BHEL College behind Jamboree Maidan will be meant for youths of Bhopal and those coming to Bhopal by train like Rewa, Singrauli, Chhindwara, Jabalpur, Katni and Katni districts.
Yuva Panchayat is 27th Panchayat
Yuva Panchayat to be held on January 16 is the 27th mega event for ensuring welfare of various sections of society.
