Youth under debt had abducted child for ransom in Berasia

Police have solved the abduction of a three-and-half year-old girl child from a residential colony on Hoshangabad Colony. A youth who lived nearby had committed the crime as he was under debt and planned to repay the loan with ransom amount.
Satlapur police have solved the case and arrested three people including the main accused.
Satlapur police station in-charge Piyush Charles said accused Kripal Gurjar, 27, resident of Tanda under Berasia tehsil, had hatched the conspiracy to abduct Anil Jhagre’s three-and-half year-old daughter. Kripal’s accomplices were Lakhan Jatav, 21, resident of Rajgarh, and Pankaj Jatav, 22, resident of Tanda. The accused had planned to demand a ransom of Rs 3.5 lakh.
The trio took the child on a motorcycle that did not have a number plate. However, due to police checking on the highway, they left the girl in Berasia. The child was recovered four hours after abduction.
Police were suspicious about the Berasia connection of the abductors as the child was recovered from Berasia. Police investigation revealed that Kripal was seen near Tanda in Berasia. Later police detained all suspects and during interrogation they admitted their crime.
Neighbours’ taunts had forced Class-5 student to end life
Under Piplani police station, a class-5 girl student had committed suicide as she was hurt by the taunts of the neighbours. Police have registered case against 11 people on the basis of suicide note recovered from the girl. Four of the accused have been arrested.
According to Piplani police, Muskan, 14, had gone to watch Republic Day function on January 26 along with her elder sister. A neighbouring youth Rahul came there and started taking with Muskan’s elder sister.
Later in the evening Muskan’s mother went to Rahul’s house to express her displeasure. However, Rahul, his parents and other family members started arguing with Muskan’s mother and elder sister and even thrashed them. They also taunted them.
Muskan was hurt by this and she mentioned it in her suicide note. Police have booked 11 people and four of them have been arrested. The accused were identified as Rahul and his relatives and neighbours Kavita, Tota, Gaurav, Kesar, Devendra, Sonu, Bhaddo, Maan Singh, Ninda and Hargovind. The case was registered based on the names in the suicide note.
