Winter severity

With the mercury falling up to 3 degree celsius in Kashmir and heavy snow fall in other Himalayan states of Himachal and Uttarkhand the severe cold waves have reached up to Madhya Pradesh.

While in Capital Bhopal the night temperature has come down upto 10 degree an unusual feature in the month of November. In the coming month December and January the cold conditions are likely to be more sevear.

The dewfall in the night and fog on the early morning hours are getting heavy and dense under such winter condition. The state Government, District Administration and civic bodies must take and make swift arrangements up keep of shelter home (ran basera).

Under the clean India campaign it are ran basera that require utmost clean conditions. It are criminally neglected by the staff there. The halls and beds and blankets are very dirty and unhygienic.

The amount provided for this purposes regularly diverted somewhere else. Those who stay here for night are so timid they can not lodge complaints about it. Among the authorities someone must visit these ran baseras daily in the day and particularly in the nights.

The people who stay here need such help for a easy life in winter. The schools of small children must not open before nine in the morning. The shivering cold is not at all contusive atmosphere for teaching the kids.
