Will talk to Cong delegation presently on visit to J&K, says Rajnath

Agencies, Srinagar

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today said he will talk to Congress delegation presently on a visit to Jammu and Kashmir after their return to New Delhi.

Talking to reporters before his departure to Jammu for a two-day visit, Mr Singh said he has heard that a Congress delegation is visiting the state to assess the situation.

When asked about the allegation levelled by leader of the opposition in the Upper House Ghulam Nabi Azad about alleged failure of the central government on Kashmir, Mr Singh said that he has a great respect for him (Azad).

Since they are in opposition they have to raise the issues.

I have been talking to Mr Azad on Kashmir and seek his opinion how to resolve the crisis, the Union Minister said adding that when the delegation will return to New Delhi he will talk to him again about the assessment of the situation here.
