By Our Staff Reporter Bhopal, July 2: The initiative of public hearing for redressal of public grievances is being made more comprehensive and now at district level administrative squad will also be engaged in this work. Akin to police now collectors will listen to public grievances at district level. Besides this now public hearing will be done at development block level too. In this connection Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan gave instructions on Wednesday. He was doing review of Revenue Department in Mantralaya. He maintained that at district level collector and at district Panchayat level Chief Executive Officer will do work on the decided date and time. Chief Minister Chouhan said that in this connection detailed orders will be issued soon. Prominent among those present in the review meeting were Revenue State Minister Karan Singh Verma, principal secretary Revenue MS Uppadhayay, Revenue secretary Sema Sharma, Commissioner Land Records Vinod Kumar. Chief Minister said that public hearing would be done at district and Janpad level too. Chief Minister Chouhan said that at village level to make administrative unit available and to make the unit active, village secretariat set up would be restarted. He added that Sarpanch, Panchayat secretary, Patwari and rural agriculture development officer like village level team will be available in these secretariats for rural people on fixed day and time. It will find solution of problems. He further said that for this concerned department should convene meeting soon and give necessary instructions.
Distribution of loan booklet on August 15: New unified land rights and loan booklet will be provided to farmers in between August 15 to 31, 2009 free of cost. During this period Chief Minister, members of cabinet, MLAs and other elected public representatives will distribute this booklet to farmers in functions.
State Minister will review pending cases: Chief Minister Chouhan has asked the Revenue Minister to perform comprehensive review of all the pending 8738 cases related to rehabilitation. He added that cases pertaining to giving of Pattas to Sindhi displaced people should be disposed of by convening meeting of their representatives on the basis of decided formulas.
Inverters will be installed in Tehsil offices: Chief Minister has given instructions to install inverters in all the 320 Tehsils of State. This is being done to ensure that computerised Khasra and B-1's copy can be distributed. Chouhan reasoned that even during power cut farmers would be given copies.
Government calendar and diary will be printed: Chief Minister said that instead of calendars and diaries being printed by different departments now only one government calendar and diary would be printed. He further said that full use of the printing capacity of all the government printing presses would be made.
