Several summer camps are organised in the state capital. Children learn many things in this camp. These camps are also contributing in personality development of children. As soon as the summer vacations started in the schools these summer camps started their activities. There are some camps which have not started their activities yet, but there are few summer camps which have just started recently. One such camp is under operation in Red Rose School at Trilanga. This camp is only for the children from age group of 5 to 15 years. The participant children in this camp looks very energetic. The main objective of this camp is to bring out the hidden talent of the child. These children are taught various games to play. Activities like roller skating, classical dance, folk dance and Western Dance are performed in this camp. In this camp yoga exercises, aerobics, spoken English, cursive writing, vocal and music, instrumental music, harmonium and synthesizer training is also given to the children.
Few children are found of playing with pencils, and these children are given training for sketching drawing. Here children are given training for oil painting, glass painting, ornate jewellery, wax works and ceramic art. In this camp children are given chance to run and play, they are left free to take part in the activities of their choice. Here children are kept busy in different type of games. These children prefer to play basket ball for physical fitness and for brain exercise chess is also available. Children are also taught about the basics of computer and internet.
