Tribal dances of Assam presented in Bhopal

The tribal exhibition organised at Indira Gandhi National Human Museum here recently. In this exhibition a cultural programme titled 'Brahmaputra ki Batiyan' is organised daily at 4pm. It is started from February 17 and will be lasting up to February 20. In this programme folk and tribal of Assam give presentation on their cultural dance. The objective of this programme is to make people aware of different cultures and tribal of India. Missing, Bodo Kaddari and Assam are three main groups that are participating in it. The presentation of missing group was there on Tuesday. In this Mibusangnam, Kaban geet Virah, Satriya and Gwal Padiya were presented. Jiten Dhole presented this Mibudangnam. Here mibu is the worshipper that recites hidden mantras and satisfy people to answer them for their queries based on future. Four girls and four boys were there with Mibu in this dance. In the same way Kaban was a Virah Geet that sings at the time of sadness. Krishana was admired in Satriya and sang folk song in Gwal Padia. Viewers liked this programme very much.
