By Our Staff Reporter Bhopal, July 31: The Dushyant Kumar Pandulipi Sangrahalaya is going to organise a three-day seminar on "Preparation for Civil services" for aspirants free of cost from Friday. The seminar would have lecture sessions of various IAS, IPS and other administrative officials to make them aware of the techniques and strategy for preparing for these examinations. Rajurkar Raj, Director of Sangrahalaya informed that on the inaugural day Sanjeev Shami, senior IPS officer would guide the students to achieve success in the examination. He will throw lights on various aspects of preparation. Seminar would be attended by officers like Dr MK Shukla IPS, SPS Parihar Secretary Urban Administration and senior IAS officer Dr Vijay Agarwal. There will also be an interactive session in which students can ask various queries to the officials.
Sub-junior basketball training camp being organised in BHEL Bhopal, July 31: Sub-junior basketball training camp was on Thursday inaugurated in the sports authority of BHEL. On the occasion, general secretary RS Thakur, basketball coach JS Puri and senior deputy general manager Anil Prasad were present. In the camp, 25 players were selected under boys and girls category, who will receive training till August 15, 2010 under international coaches like SRSP Raidoo (Andhra Pradesh), Jareen Zaidi (Lucknow), and RS Gaur Chhattisgarh. Players selected under this camp will be included in Indian team for international matches to be played in Malaysia and Philippines. Lodging arrangement for players has been made in hostel no 5, while traffic department has arranged buses for their conveyance to BHEL play ground for training.
