Ultratech Cement Q1 net dips 41.89 pc

Ultratech Cement Ltd today said its net profit for the first quarter ended June 30, 2010 declined by 41.89 per cent to Rs 242.73 crore as compared to Rs 417.77 crore registered in the same period last fiscal. The company's total income also saw a dip of 7.48 per cent to Rs 1,838.18 crore in Q1FY11 as compared to Rs 1,987.00 crore in Q1FY10, it said in a statement.

SAIL Q1 net dips 11.55 PC
New Delhi, July 29:
State run Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) today said its net profit for the first quarter ended June 30 declined 11.55 per cent to Rs 1,176.65 crore as compared to Rs 1,330.43 crore registered in the corresponding period last year. The company's total income has also decreased by 1.89 per cent to Rs 9,519.52 crore in Q1FY11 as compared to Rs 9,703.51 crore in Q1FY10, it said in a statement.

HDIL Q1 at Rs 234.33 cr
New Delhi, July 29:
Housing Development & Infrastructure Ltd (HDIL) today said its net profit for the first quarter ended June 30, increased 118.04 per cent to Rs 234.33 crore as compared to Rs 107.47 crore registered in the corresponding period last year. The company's total income moved up from Rs 318.61 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009 to Rs 485.14 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2010, an increase of 52.26 per cent, it said in a statement.
