Sahitya Academy Organises Co-meditation Meet of Literary Organisations |

Bhopal Posted On Wednesday, July 28, 2010 | By Our Staff Reporter, Bhopal, July 28: Sahitya Academy, MP Cultural Council, today organised co-meditation meet of literary organisations in conference hall of Swaraj Bhavan. Eminent thinker and ideologue Kamtanath Vaishmpayan presided over the programme, while editor of Devputra Krishna Kumar was present as chief guest on the occasion. Representatives of as many as 20 organisations participated in the meet, which was organised with an aim to make literary atmosphere wide, rich, inclusive and effective. Professor Tribhuvannath Shukla, director of the academy, said that in his welcome speech that the literary organisations, which are journeying public literature, should unite and discover litterateurs from small towns and villages and involve them in the journey. Vaishmpayan said that the co-meditation meet would be a positive step in betterment of literature and that everybody should contribute to country's development keeping in mind our value system. Ashthana said that we could carry out good works for the upliftment of literature while ensuring safety to our existence. Rajurkar Raj, director of Pandulipi Museum, said that the job of museums is to conserve scripts and that his museum had been awarding Dushyant Kumar prize since 1998 and also organising recording and lecture programme of classical litterateurs. Kailash Chandra Pant, director of Rashtra Bhasha Prachar Samiti, said that everybody present here knows what programme his organisation conducts. He said that these programmes are organised throughout the year and that his organisation has units in 12 districts, which are independently working for the betterment of literature. Dr Ramvallabh Acharya, Jagdish Shrivastava, Laxminarayan Gupta, Shyam Bihari Saxena, Baburao Gujare, Pradeep Mani 'Dhruv', Dr Shushil Guru, Kumkum Gupta and Manoj Jain threw light on the programmes conducted by their respective organisations and also gave suggestions for their betterment.
