Omnitech InfoSolutions Ltd, a leading business continuity and disaster recovery services provider, today said it has signed a multi-year contract with companies from Europe and the US to offer remote infrastructure management services and 'Virtual CIO' offerings.
he consolidated and accumulative deal size would be at Rs 25 crore, the company said in a statement.
The company has signed a contract with a European firm--IT Factory--to remotely support its management functions and IT maintenance.
Through this offering, the company claimed that IT factory can expect a reduction of total IT operation cost by 40 per cent in a year's time.
Omnitech has also signed a contract with Astonfield Renewable Resources Ltd, with headquarters in both New York and Mumbai, to offer the concept of 'Virtual CIO'.
In this offering, Omnitech will act as a 'Virtual CIO', consulting the firm right from IT planning stage to measuring goals and providing a mechanism to measure and monitor improvement.
Omnitech InfoSolutions Ltd offers a range of 'Business Availability Services', which includes Infrastructure Management Services, Application Management Services and Performance Management Services.
The company business is spread across the US, Canada, the UK, Belgium, Bahrain and Japan.
The client base encompasses sectors like BFSI (Banking, Financial Services and Insurance), Manufacturing, Utilities, Services and IT and ITES organisations.
