Goa gets Rs 12 crore revenue from on-line lottery

Panaji, July 21:
Goa government gets Rs 12 crore revenue by conducting on-line lottery every year, Chief Minister Digambar Kamat told the state Legislative Assembly today.
Replying to a question on the issue, he told the House that the government would follow all the rules and regulations necessary for smooth conduct of the on-line lottery without any hitch.
Even the Centre had been monitoring the online lotteries in the country.
Goa has been operating the lotteries since May 10, 2010 through M/s Sugal & Damani Enterprises Private Limited, Chembur, Mumbai, he added.
