Hoshangabad, Mar 11:
Programmes were organised at district head quarter and tehsil level for woman empowerment under the aegis of district legal service authority.
Registrar and secretary of the authority said that programmes were organised at Sohagpur, Pipariya, Itarsi, Seoni Malwa along with many other places. The women were apprised of the various constitutional provisions in the programme. A similar programme was also organised by Gram Panchayat Rohana. Sarpanch Uma Bai, Upsarpanch Likhiram Yadav, members Dhanvanti, Lakshmibai, Sushilabai and Saliman Bi took part in the programme along with secretary Ram Prakash Sharma. Information was given about the Domestic Violence Act, Dowry Atrocity Act, Inheritance Act, legal services and public court.
