MP govt allocates Rs 3.84 cr for eco-tourism

Bhopal, Dec 23:
The state government has allocated Rs 3.84 crore for developing tourist facilities at Burhanpur and Samardha eco-tourism centres of the state.
Out of Rs 3.84 crore sanctioned by the Union Tourism Ministry for the development of tourist facilities in Madhya Pradesh, a sum of Rs 3.50 crore has been earmarked for Burhanpur and Rs 34.45 lakh for Samardha, an official release said.
The state government had also forwarded four proposals worth Rs 8 crore for development of 'Jain Paripath' tourism circles in the state.
Similarly, schemes worth Rs 3.80 lakh had been sent to Union Government for Caravan Tourism in Pachmarhi besides Tawa and Kaliyasote near Bhopal.
