Bhopal, Nov 25:
The BJP has announced today evening names of Mayoral candidates for all 13 Municipal Corporations. Mrs Krishna Gaur will contest from Bhopal while senior BJP leader Krishna Murari Moghe would fight from Indore.
After continuous discussion for three days BJP State President Narendra Singh Tomar announced names of candidates fir the post of Mayors. Former State Organisation General Secretary Krishna Murari Moghe is fielded from Indore, daughter-in-law of minister Babulal Gaur and BJP Mahila Morcha State Vice President Mrs Krishna Gaur will contest from Bhopal while wife of minister Vijay Shah Mrs Bhavna Shah is candidate from Khandwa and former minister Alka Jain will fight from Katni.
The full list of candidates contesting for the post of Mayor is - Mrs Madhuri Patel (Burhanpur), Mrs Bhavna Shah (Khandwa), Mrs Krishna Gaur (Bhopal), Krishna Murari Moghe (Indore), Shailendra Daga (Ratlam), Mrs Babli Narendra Yadav (Dewas), Mrs Samiksha Gupta (Gwalior) Kantidev Singh (Singrauli), Shivendra Singh Patel (Rewa), Rajkumar Mishra (Satna), Prabhat Sahu (Jabalpur), Mrs Alka Jain (Katni), and Mrs Suman Ashok Ahirwar (Sagar).
Out of the 13 Municipal Corporations the BJP has fielded seven women candidates.
