Bhopal, Nov 22:
Animal and Environment Care Organisation (AENCO), an NGO working for the animal welfare cause, organised a Free Animal Treatment Camp and distributed free medicines at Sri Krishna Gaushala in Central Jail Bhopal on Sunday.
169 animals were given treatment. Veterinary Doctor Dr Neena Tripathi and AENCO para veterinary team conducted the camp.
Dr Neena gave tips for winter care management of animals to the police staff and prisoners who are taking care of the Gaushala. Dr Neena found some common winter related problems in animals like fever, cough, sneezing, pneumonia, dermatitis, ringworm infection, anorexia etc.
AENCO president Puneet Tripathi said that his organisation would soon start a Gaushala Management Workshop to train jail staff and prisoners for proper care of the animals.
