Hurley's absence raises eyebrows

London, Nov 22:
British beauty Elizabeth Hurley''s absence at the charity gala hosted by Maharaja of Jodhpur Gaj Singh II has raised eyebrows with reports linking her no-show to marital problems with Indian businessman Arun Nayar. Hurley chose not to attend the event despite the fact that the Maharaja had hosted the model''s grand wedding reception at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in India in 2007, reported Sunday Telegraph.
According to the report, Hurley''s spokesman declined to comment on rumours that her absence was because of her deteriorating relationship with 44-year-old Nayar. Hurley was also conspicuous by her absence at the launch of ''To India With Love'', a fundraising book for the victims of the Mumbai terror attacks, to which she had contributed.
Earlier in March, the newspaper quoted friends of the couple to report that their relationship was on the rocks. But the couple denied it.
Meanwhile Hurley has been recently spotted having dinner with ex-boyfriend, actor Hugh Grant whom she had dated for 13 years before tying the knot with Nayar.
