Bhopal Posted On Thursday, November 19, 2009 | By Our Staff Reporter Bhopal, Nov 19: A Parliamentary Museum has been planned to set up in the state capital. The proposed museum will be established on the lines of the Parliamentary Museum located on the premises of the Lok Sabha Secretariat. Along with this, the Pandit Kunjilal Dube Rashtriya Sansadiya Vidyapeeth will be shifted to Old Afqar Press located on the premises of the MLAs Rest House. Moreover, all the members of the 13th Vidhan Sabha will be provided subsidy up to Rs 35 thousand on purchase of laptop/computer. Among other facilities being extended to all the MLAs of the present Vidhan Sabha, facility of interest subsidy would also be provided to them on the loan obtained by them for purchase of vehicle. Information to this effect was given at a meeting of the Advisory Committee of the Parliamentary Affairs and Law & Legislative Affairs Department held here today. The Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and Law & Legislative Affairs, Dr Narottam Mishra presided over the meeting. Besides the member of the advisory committee MLA Kamlesh Jatav, the Principal Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs Department Rajan Katoch, Principal Secretary, Law & Legislative Affairs, NK Gupta; Law Secretary, JK Vaidya; Deputy Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs, LC Motwani; Under Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs, Rajesh Gupta; Director, Sansadiya Vidyapeeth, Ms Manjulata Sharma also participated in the meeting. Addressing the meeting, the Parliamentary Affairs Minister Dr Narottam Mishra issued necessary directives to the concerning officers to expedite the process for establishment of the proposed Parliamentary Museum in Bhopal, shifting of the Pandit Kunjilal Dube Rashtriya Sansadiya Vidyapeeth to new premises and to extend various facilities to the MLAs. Dr Mishra also instructed the officers of the Law Department for initiating necessary steps for establishment of a Civil Court at Porsa in Morena district. It was informed that opinion of the Madhya Pradesh High Court for setting up of the Civil Court is being sought. It was informed at the meeting that all the members of the 13th Vidhan Sabha would be extended the facility of obtaining vehicle loan up to Rs five lakh from the nationalized banks under certain terms and conditions. Under this, the MLAs shall themselves initially bear four percent interest. The remaining amount of the interest shall be provided by the state government in the form of subsidy. It was further stated at the meeting that under the infrastructure development of courts and expansion plan, administrative sanction has already been accorded for construction of new court buildings, courtrooms and residential quarters for judges and to complete the incomplete construction works. Budgetary provision of Rs 25 crore has been made for non-residential works and Rs 15 crore for residential works in the current financial year 2009-10.
