By Our Staff Reporter Bhopal, Nov 18: A seminar on Railway Security was organised under the joint aegis of West Central Railway (WCR) Mazdoor Sangh and Divisional Railway, Bhopal Division on Wednesday at Railway Community Hall. Divisional Railway Manager WCR, Bhopal Division PK Agarwal was the chief guest and the Chief Security Officer of Jabalpur Zone RS Puniya was the special guest of the programme. The Working President of West Central Railway Mazdoor Sangh PK Sahni presided over the programme. The chief guest PK Agarwal addressed the seminar and said that employees play vital role in providing security in Railways and Railway employees play vital role to prevent accident in Railways. On the occasion, several employees were felicitated by presenting cash award. The programme concluded by JV Rai, General Secretary of the Sangh and Ashok Sharma, Divisional President and Divisional Secretary BD Mishra expressed gratitude to all, AV Shukla and Kamlesh Parihar conducted the programme.
Three-day training programme begins By Our Staff Reporter Bhopal, Nov 18: A three-day training programme on Hydro Governing System for M/s NHPC Engineering was inaugurated by PK Bajpai, General Manager (I), Power Sector (NR) at HRDC of BHEL (Bhopal). In all 15 Engineers from various sites of M/s NHPC are participating in the programme. Bajpai said that both BHEL and NHPC are National Companies having very long association working towards common good of meeting Nation's need for electricity. He added that this type of training programme provides platform for mutual interaction, understanding each other and the product. This knowledge and experience sharing shall lead to better productivity of power equipment supplied by BHEL to NHPC and provide necessary inputs to BHEL for product improvement. This is a win-win strategy. Earlier PK Goyal, AGM (HRDC) welcomed all the dignitaries and participants. BL Singh, AGM (THE) is the lead faculty member for the three-day training programme. The programme is highly interactive including classroom inputs and shop visits. M/s Jayati De, programme coordinator proposed the vote of thanks.
Marathi youths' matchmaking convention By Our Staff Reporter Bhopal, Nov 18: Maharashtra Samaj Vivah Samiti is going to organise 14th Marathi youths' matchmaking convention on December 6 at 9 am at Samaj Bhavan situated at Tulsi Nagar. Samiti convener Arvind Basant Lodhe has appealed to the people of the community and parents of youths of marriageable age to get registered and avail the benefit of opportunity. Office of the Samiti remains open in Samaj Bhavan on every Tuesday and Thursday.
